I have been practicing PSYCHOTHERAPY for 13 years. I work to help create a safe environment where it is possible for a client to feel seen and understood. In my work with clients we often explore their Family of Origin. It is important to understand the family context you came from and how it has influenced you in both positive and negative ways. The beliefs you took on as you grew and matured may not be as useful in your current life as they were when you were a child. Sometimes these beliefs are of an unconscious nature and therapy is often full of surprises as you get to know and understand yourself in new ways. It is out of this context that healing can take place.
