The Men's Center Foundation, a non-profit organization, has been created to become a focal point for masculine psychology, men's issues, gender studies and the creative and healing work of the men's movement. We work closely with the Men's Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy, our companion organization, founded in 1984 as the Bay Area's first association with a collective commitment to provide men with quality counseling and psychotherapy.
The Men's Center Forum: The Forum is an annual series of evening lectures and presentations by prominent authors, therapists and educators, bring men and women together for a vital dialogue on issues affecting men's lives, men and women in relationships, and community.
The Workshop Series: An ongoing program of day-long and weekend workshops facilitated by Associates of The Men's Center Foundation and The Men's Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy. These workshops include educational presentations and experiential processes allowing for in-depth and personal exploration of issues and feelings.
Men's Therapy Project: Individual and group therapy services for men and their families are offered on a liberal sliding-scale fee schedule. Men's Therapy Groups (including groups for Gay Men and Sexual Abuse Survivors), as well as in-depth individual and relationship counseling are provided by highly skilled staff of state-registered post-master's interns.
Men's Groups: Led by experienced facilitators, these groups offer men a safe and supportive environment in which they can explore their sense of masculinity, their relationships with other men and women, and can reclaim their lost vitality.
Internship Training Program: For Post-Master's Interns seeking a unique opportunity to specialize in working with men and men's issues, we offer a comprehensive training program by licensed Associates of The Men's Center Foundation.
